Wave is made with thermo-insulating materials which means they keep the skaters feet warmer. The upper is in Tecnomicro, a special composite microfiber that act like natural leather but with the advantage of being more resistant to abrasion and tearing and at the same time being lighter. Further more, the texture of the 3D upper is like no other!
New lacing system:
Featuring four hooks instead of the traditional three, you will discover just how much quicker you can get to the ice. Lace up, skate, unlace and done!. The extra depth around the hook that the windows provide allow the laces to easily wrap around the hook and lock.
The hooks are set so they are sunken in to help avoid possible snags between them. Having the hooks set into the windows allows the boot to be much more adherent to the foot in order to provide a more secure fit.
The embedded hooks are made of hardened and forged carbon steel, and are therefore extremely robust and resistant.
The sole of Wave shows the boot name right in the centre but features the modern look of the white fashion sole with golden profile and white heel, like the Piano: the champions’ choice.
